Privacy Policy

Couple Compass ("we," "us") is an independent product operated from Connecticut, USA. You can reach us any time at couplecompass.app@gmail.com.

• Account: email address (and Google profile basics if you sign in with Google).
• Profile: the names, favorite activities, foods, love languages, and anniversary you choose to enter.
• Activity: saved dates, date history, ratings, and the answers you give in the planning wizard and Match Our Mood.
• Device: basic technical data (browser type, timestamps) as needed to run the service securely.

We use your data to generate personalized date itineraries, remember your saved dates and history across devices, and keep your account secure. We do not sell your data and we do not run advertising.

Data is stored on our managed backend (Lovable Cloud, powered by Supabase). Some preferences are cached locally in your browser's storage so the app loads quickly and works offline.

• Lovable Cloud / Supabase — hosts your account, database, and authentication.
• Google — only if you choose "Continue with Google" to sign in.

We do not currently use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.

You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account at any time by emailing couplecompass.app@gmail.com. We honor GDPR and CCPA requests regardless of where you live.

Couple Compass is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

We'll update this page when our practices change and revise the effective date above. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
