Terms of Service

Couple Compass is owned and operated by Itsha Dickson, a sole proprietor based in Connecticut, USA, trading as "Couple Compass" ("we," "us"). When you use the app or buy a subscription, your agreement is with Itsha Dickson.

By using Couple Compass you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Couple Compass. If you're between 13 and the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm a parent or guardian is aware of your use.

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

• Don't use the service to harass, defraud, or harm others.
• Don't attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload the service.
• Don't scrape, resell, or misuse the content we generate.

Itineraries, venue references, prices, hours, and drive times are informational only. Always verify details with the venue before you go. We're not responsible for the availability, quality, or safety of any third-party venue or activity.

The app, its design, and its content are owned by Itsha Dickson (trading as Couple Compass). You keep ownership of the personal details and notes you enter; you grant us the license needed to store, display, and process them so we can operate the service for you.

Couple Compass is free to start — your first date plan is on us, and free accounts can keep up to three saved dates. Couple Compass Plus is billed at $49.99 per year or $4.99 per month, renews automatically until cancelled, and covers both partners in a linked couple. Applicable taxes are added at checkout. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for. If a payment fails, Plus features pause until billing is up to date.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. For payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics, see Paddle's Buyer Terms.

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If Couple Compass isn't right for you, request a full refund within 30 days of your order date and we'll take care of it — no explanation needed. Refunds are processed by our payment provider, Paddle: request one at paddle.net or email couplecompass.app@gmail.com and we'll start it for you. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not automatically refund the current period.

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Couple Compass will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the service.

You can stop using Couple Compass and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Connecticut.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above.
